This serigraph shows an imaginary demestics scene, based on the words of the prophet Isaih:
"Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him, And that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?" (Isaiah 58:7)
The poor man appears in the picture as a blind guitar player sitting in torn clothes on the ground outside the house. The owner of the house comes out to cover him with shawl, while his wife hurries to serve him food. Even the child comes to him carrying a lamb as a token of friendship and hospitality.
