The artist's most obvious model is himself. Art history knows a lot of wonderful self - portraits- just think of Rembrandt.

The portraits of art lovers and colleagues are also very common - sometimes realistically, sometimes caricaturistically represented, with a quill dipped in more or less vitriol.

The virtual exhibition here contains examples of all genres. In the vast majority, graphics are visible, with a few lines that describe the model brilliantly.

Unfortunately, the quality of the photos is not the best, glazed graphics are not easy to shoot. However, I hope that the virtual exhibition will help you understand the artists ' hidden intentions in the work of art.
