He was born in Budapest in 1895. He learnt at school of Manó Vesztróczy in Budapest than later for a longer period followed his studies in Munich. Since 1916 he had a lot of exhibitions abroad and in Budapest as well. Firstly he made coloured, decorative Chinese ink drawing and pastell drawings but later oil paintings too. Regularly made etchings too.
